Washburn County ATV Trail Opener

Washburn County ATV Trails will be officially open as of 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning May 18, 2024.

Trail conditions will be variable and riders may encounter wet conditions and soft trails in some areas. Maintenance of trails will continue throughout the summer months so please tread lightly and stay on designated trails.

As of this announcement, DNR fire danger is constantly changing on a day to day basis. Washburn County municipal code stipulates that Washburn County ATV trails automatically close whenever DNR fire danger is at “Very High” or higher.  Fire danger information is available at the following link:
