Snowmobile Trail Update

Effective Wednesday, February 12, 2025 ALL Snowmobile Trails in Washburn County will be open, with the exception of Trail 26 (known as the Ghost Trail) near Long Lake. This section of trail branches off of Trail 25 and heads out on to Little Mud Lake lake route and then on to Gruenhagen Bay of Long Lake. With a recent road blow out and Little Mud Lake draining into Long Lake, ice condition at that point are unsafe and for that reason this section of Trail will remained closed until further notice. Club reports indicate trail conditions are good with 5 to 7 inches of packed base, with some areas having less.
2/20/2025: All trail conditions in Washburn County are fair. Please be advised that some areas do not have 100% snow cover and have exposed trail base.
