Hazard Mitigation Planning Meeting scheduled for 4/2/2026 is Cancelled

Due to late-breaking developments with the federal BRIC program and new pending federal guidance that may affect our planning efforts, we will need to postpone the Hazard Mitigation Plan Local Update planning meeting that was scheduled for tomorrow, 4/2/2026. The program has recently begun moving again following federal actions and court decisions, and we want to ensure we have the most current information before we meet. Allowing a little additional time will help us gather updated guidance and make the most of our next meeting.

I apologize for the late notice and appreciate everyone’s patience and flexibility.

There will be no Hazard Mitigation Planning Meeting tomorrow, 4/2/26, and we will plan to reconvene in the near future. I will send out a new meeting date and any updated materials as soon as they are available.
