Public Health staff work collaboratively with partners at the local and state level to assure quality health services are delivered to mothers, children, and families in Washburn County.
Safe Baby Sleep – A suite of resources created by the Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin to enhance local efforts to promote a consistent and clear safe sleep message based on the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines.
Children’s Resource Center of the West – A resource for families of children with special needs, as well as the professionals who support them, to access information and resources within their communities. CRC-West is one of five regional Children’s Resource Centers in Wisconsin’s Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) Network, an initiative of the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
WellBadger Resource Center – A one-stop connection to community, social, health, and government programs — a place to find what you need, when you need it.
Youth Wellness Hub – A free, online, anonymous tool is here to help you navigate resources for a child you care about who has mental or behavioral health concerns.
Wisconsin Wayfinder – A program that supports families of children with delays, disabilities, special health care needs, and mental health conditions. Children’s resource guides are helpers who assist families, caregivers, professionals, and organizations in finding a wide array of support and services available through the Children’s Resource Network.
Health Highlights – A monthly newsletter resource provided by Public Health that is sent to our schools and childcare facilities in Washburn County.
