Environmental Health
Washburn County Health Department is responsible for enforcing Wisconsin State Statute 254, protecting the public from human health hazards.
Services:
- Water Test Kits – available at the Health Department for households with pregnant women and/or children under age 1 year. For all others, well water test kits are available at; UW Extension call 715-635-4444.
- Radon Test Kits – available for purchase at the Health Department. Call 715-635-4400 for more information.
- Carbon Monoxide – A limited number for free detectors may be available at the Health Department for qualifying families. Call 715-635-4400 for more information
