Broadband Forward
Washburn County recently enacted a resolution adopting an ordinance, which encourages the expansion of broadband internet in the county. Due to the passing of this ordinance, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin certified Washburn County as a Broadband Forward! Community. This certification identifies local units of government that have taken steps to reduce obstacles to broadband infrastructure development.
