Circuit Court Judge

The function of the Circuit Court is to fairly and expeditiously preside over all cases submitted by the public for the administration of justice. The judge and staff endeavor to perform that task by the prompt calendaring of all cases consistent with the processing guidelines promulgated by the 10th Judicial District Judges’ Conference.

Community Service

Washburn County Community Service Program provides an alternative to incarceration and monetary penalties. The Program accepts adults and juveniles referred by the Circuit Court Judges, the District Attorney’s Office, Department of Health and Human Services, Drug Court, and the Washburn County Criminal Justice Program. The participants in the program are placed at volunteer placement sites in the community (non-profits, public and government organizations) to complete their assigned number of community service hours and are monitored for compliance.
